Fees payable

The fees payable to review an application for a Certificat de sélection du Québec are as follows:

Fees in effect

  As of
January 1, 20191
Principal applicant C$798
Spouse or de facto spouse C$171
Each dependent child C$171

These fees are non-refundable and non-deductible from the fees required by the Canadian visa office.

The required fees must be paid in full, in Canadian currency only, by you or by a third party. These fees are non-refundable, even if your application is refused or rejected.

1 The increase affects the fees payable under An Act respecting immigration to Québec, as well as the fees required to apply for an Évaluation comparative des études effectuées hors du Québec (comparative evaluation for studies done outside Québec). The 1.71% adjustment corresponds to Québec’s consumer price index for the period ending on September 30, 2018. It complies with Section 83.3 of the Financial Administration Act.

Payment methods

Only the following payment methods are accepted:

  • certified cheque drawn on a Canadian bank;
  • cheque issued by a Canadian company;
  • Canada Post money order;
  • bank draft drawn on a Canadian bank.

For applications for a Certificat de sélection du Québec submitted before December 31, 2018, you must complete the Payment by credit card form if you are requesting the addition of a spouse or a child to your immigration file.

ATTENTION! Cheques and bank drafts must be made payable to the Minister of Finance of Québec and must be mailed with your file to the Ministère de l'Immigration, de la Francisation et de l’Intégration. Be sure to print your name in block letters on the back of the cheques. Payment in cash, by personal cheque or by traveller’s cheque is not accepted.
