The fees charged by the Québec government for processing immigration applications are indicated below.

Fees in effect

Principal applicant C$1,080

Each dependent child C$171

The fees required must be paid in full, in Canadian currency only, by you or a third party when application is submitted. These fees are not refundable, even if your application is denied.

Fees charged by the Government of Canada.

1The increase affects the fees payable under An Act respecting immigration to Québec, as well as the fees required to apply for an Évaluation comparative des études effectuées hors du Québec (comparative evaluation for studies done outside Québec). The 1.71% adjustment corresponds to the increase in the Québec consumer price index for the period ending on September 30, 2018. It complies with the requirements of Section 83.3 of the Financial Administration Act.

Payment methods

Only the following payment methods are accepted:

  • Canada Post money order;
  • bank draft drawn on a Canadian bank;
  • credit card (if you mail in your application, you must fill in the form Payment by credit card, sign it and attach it to your application).

ATTENTION! Bank drafts must be made payable to the Minister of Finance of Québec and must be mailed with your application package to Ministère de l’Immigration, de la Diversité et de l’Inclusion.

If your credit card payment is declined, the Ministère will not contact you to notify you of the refusal, and your entire file will be returned to you by regular mail.

BY MAIL: In the same envelope, enclose the duly completed and signed selection application form, all the documents required according to your situation (appendices, declarations, etc.) as well as payment of the required fees, and mail it to the Ministère de l’Immigration, de la Diversité et de l’Inclusion office in Montréal.
