4. Acceptance by the Government of Canada

Once selected by Québec, you must submit an application for permanent residence to the Centralized Intake Office in Canada, in Sydney, Nova Scotia. The Government of Canada will evaluate your medical file and that of your family members. It will conduct a security check for each person. If these steps are successful, the Government of Canada will issue you a permanent resident visa.
