Group information session on the region’s socioeconomic realities

The group information session is offered to people with permanent resident status who are francophone or who have sufficient knowledge of the language.

If this applies to you, you can attend a free one-week session (14 hours). The following topics will be covered:

  • Social and economic context: Québec society, cultural and linguistic realities of the region, education and health systems.
  • Job market in Québec and the Capitale-Nationale region: labour legislation and regulations, comparative evaluation for studies done outside Québec, bridge training, wages, taxation, unions.
  • Job search.
