Transportation

Québec covers a vast territory. By road, it takes more than a day to travel from east to west. The road network is very well developed making it easy to travel from one city to the next by car or bus. Several private bus companies service Québec.

It is also possible to travel by train, however, in Québec the railway service does not link all cities.

Of course, flying is the fastest mode of transportation. It is the only way to directly access some of Québec’s more remote regions.

Montréal has several metro (subway) lines. Two of these lines link the south and north shores of the metropolis.
