New step in the launch of the declaration of interest system based on invitation criteria in Arrima

July 14, 2021 - As published in the Gazette officielle du Québec (in French only) today, the Ministère de l'Immigration, de la Francisation et de l'Intégration (MIFI) announces a new step in the launch of the expression of interest system that will facilitate better alignment between immigration and the needs of the Québec labour market. More precisely, a prior classification of candidates for immigration, according to their specific profile and background, will optimize the use of the Arrima expression of interest bank.

With the help of Arrima, the Regular Skilled Worker Program (RSWP) reflects the government’s desire to invite and select foreign nationals who have a high potential for integration and whose profile corresponds to Québec’s socioeconomic needs. To be invited, foreign nationals must submit an expression of interest in Arrima.

For more information on this subject, see the invitation criteria, as well as their associated weighting.

With this new step, immigration will continue to support the economic and social vitality of all regions of Québec!
