The Permanent Immigration Pilot Program for Food Processing Workers Comes into Force

Montreal, March 24, 2021 - The Ministère is announcing the implementation of the Permanent immigration pilot program for food processing workers as enacted by the Gazette officielle du Québec on March 3.

This pilot program provides a pathway to permanent immigration for temporary foreign workers who hold admissible jobs in the food processing sector.

For 2021, the application reception period is open from March 24 to October 31.

We recall that this permanent immigration program will make it possible to select up to 550 people each year as well as the members of their families. It will end on January 1, 2026.
