New intake rules for documents submitted to the Ministère

December 9, 2020 – New rules for the transmission of documents were published today in the Gazette officielle du Québec.

These rules pertain to applications submitted by foreign nationals under the International Student Program (ISP) and the Programme de l’expérience québécoise (PEQ – Québec experience program).

As of January 26, 2021, applications submitted under these programs must be sent electronically. Printed applications will no longer be accepted.

International Student Program

Applications under the International Student Program must be submitted online via the Online application for temporary selection for studies. The electronic transmission of documents has been available since spring 2020 on the Arrima platform, but will become mandatory as of January 26, 2021.

Québec experience program

The online service will be available on the Arrima platform in mid-January for applications submitted under the Québec experience program. Candidates must submit all of the supporting documents for their application, including the form, and pay the required fees on Arrima as of January 26, 2021.

The electronic transmission of documents will also be mandatory for permanent immigration pilot projects as soon as they come into effect.

Consult the new rules for the transmission of documents published in the Gazette officielle du Québec.
