Directory of services offered by community organizations

The Ministère funds over a hundred community organizations to assist newcomers in their integration process in Québec.

These partners across Québec offer various services to immigrants free of charge:

• reception;
• personalized support;
• integration assistance;
• training session on how to adapt to the world of work in Québec and on the common values of Québec society;
• adapted French courses;
• support for special clienteles (women, disadvantaged families, etc.).

Clienteles

The clienteles who receive these services:

• permanent residents under the Immigration and Refugee Protection Act (S. C., 2001, c. 27);

• holders of a temporary resident permit issued under section 24 of the Act, in view of the granting of permanent residence;

• persons who have obtained asylum, under section 95 of the Act¹;
• persons authorized to submit an application for permanent residence while in Québec.
