Regardless of the position sought, as a temporary foreign worker, you must follow the three-step procedure that applies to you.

Under an agreement between the Gouvernement du Québec and the Government of Canada, employers can use the simplified procedure if the position they wish to fill is on the list of 44 skilled professions for which there is a labour shortage in Québec.
