Fees and method of payment

Fees

The fees required must be paid in full, in Canadian currency only, by you or by a third party, at the time the application is dropped off or mailed. These fees are not reimbursed, even if your application is refused.

Employer's hiring application

The Gouvernement du Québec levies a fee to review an offer of temporary work for a foreign worker submitted by an employer, with the exception of applications for seasonal agricultural workers.

Application for a Certificate of Acceptance for Temporary Work

The fees levied by the Gouvernement du Québec for processing an Application for Certificate of Acceptance for Temporary Work per foreign worker are :

The payment must be sent at the same time as the application form. These fees can be paid by the employer or the worker.

Method of payment

Only the following payment methods are accepted:

  • credit card (if you mail in your application, you must fill in the form Payment by credit card, sign it and attach it to your application);
  • certified cheque (international or drawn on a Canadian bank);
  • cashier’s cheque;
  • cheque issued by a Canadian company;
  • Canada Post money order;
  • bank draft or international money order;
  • debit card and cash (in person and in Canadian currency only to the Service de l’accueil et de l’encaissement).

 

ATTENTION! Cheques must made payable to the Ministre des Finances du Québec and must include, on the reverse side, the name of the applicant in block letters. Payment in cash and traveller’s cheques is not accepted.

BY MAIL: You must include, in the same envelope, the form duly completed and signed, all of the documents required depending on your situation (appendices, declarations, etc.) as well as payment of the fees required.
