Required fees and method of payment

  NOTE  

Be on your guard if you are asked to enter your file number on a website. In fact, the Ministère will never ask you to enter your file number on its website, except on secure platforms for an application for temporary selection for studies or an application for permanent selection under the Regular Skilled Worker Program (Mon projet Québec).

 
     

Required Fees

Required fees must be paid in full, in Canadian currency only, by you or by a third party, at the time the application is dropped off or mailed. These required fees are not reimbursed, even if your application is refused or rejected.

Employer's hiring application

The required fees levied by the Gouvernement du Québec to assess the impacte of an offer of temporary work for a foreign worker submitted by an employer, are as follows:

Application for Temporary selection

The required fees levied by the Gouvernement du Québec for processing an Application for temporary selection per foreign worker are :

The payment must be sent at the same time as the application form. These required fees can be paid by the employer or the worker.

Method of payment

Only the following payment methods are accepted:

  • credit card (if you mail in your application, you must fill in the form Payment by credit card, sign it and attach it to your application);
  • certified cheque drawn on a Canadian bank;
  • cashier’s cheque;
  • cheque issued by a Canadian company;
  • Canada Post money order;
  • bank draft drawn on a Canadian bank.

 

NOTE! Cheques and bank drafts must be made payable to the Minister of Finance of Québec and must be mailed with your file to the Ministère de l'Immigration, de la Diversité et de l'Inclusion. Be sure to indicate on the reverse side of the cheque the name of the applicant in block letters. Payment in cash, by personal cheque or by traveller’s cheque is not accepted.

If your credit card payment is refused, the Ministère will not contact you to advise you of the refusal and your entire file will be returned to you by regular mail.

BY MAIL: You must include, in the same envelope, the forms duly completed and signed, all of the documents required depending on your situation (appendices, declarations, etc.) as well as payment of the required fees to the office of the Ministère that is processing your application.
