These fees are not refundable nor deductible from fees charged by the Canadian visa office.

IMPORTANT

The fees required must be paid in full, in Canadian currency only, by you or by a third party, at the time the application is dropped off or mailed. These fees are not reimbursed, even if your application is refused.

1 The increase affects the fees payable under An Act Respecting Immigration to Québec and the Regulation respecting the selection of foreign nationals as well as the fees for an Évaluation comparative des études effectuées hors du Québec (comparative evaluation for studies done outside Québec). The 1.06% adjustment corresponds to the increase in Québec’s consumer price index for the period ending on September 30, 2014. It respects the requirements of Section 83.3 of the Québec government’s Financial Administration Act.

Payment methods

Only the following payment methods are accepted:

  • credit card (if you mail in your application, you must fill in the form Payment by credit card, sign it and attach it to your application);
  • certified cheque drawn on a Canadian bank;
  • cashier’s cheque;
  • cheque issued by a Canadian company;
  • Canada Post money order;
  • bank draft drawn on a Canadian bank.

NOTE! Cheques and bank drafts must be made payable to the Minister of Finance of Québec and must be mailed with your file to the Ministère de l'Immigration, de la Diversité et de l'Inclusion. Be sure to indicate on the reverse side of the cheque the name of the applicant in block letters. Payment in cash, by personal cheque or by traveller’s cheque is not accepted.

If your credit card payment is refused, the Ministère will not contact you to advise you of the refusal and your entire file will be returned to you by regular mail.

BY MAIL: You must include, in the same envelope, the form duly completed and signed, all of the documents required depending on your situation (appendices, declarations, etc.) as well as payment of the fees required to the office of the Ministère that is processing your application.
