Conditions and procedureWhen to submit an application under the Programme de l’expérience québécoise (PEQ)As a future Québec graduate, you are authorized to submit your application for a Certificat de sélection du Québec (CSQ – Québec selection certificate) up to six months before the date on which you expect to receive your attestation of successful completion or diploma eligible for the PEQ. However, the CSQ can be issued to you only upon presentation of your diploma or attestation of successful completion. By submitting your application in advance, you can ensure that your file conforms to the program requirements. If you hold a diploma eligible under the PEQ issued after February 13, 2008, you may submit your CSQ application without waiting provided that you have not started a new study program. Otherwise, you must wait until you are ready to work again for your application to be admissible. If you are a graduate and have held a skilled job for at least 12 months, you may submit your CSQ application under the PEQ as either a graduate or a skilled worker, depending on which option seems simpler to you. However, make sure to use the appropriate form. From abroad, there is no time limit for submitting your CSQ application as a Québec graduate under the PEQ. You must simply hold a diploma eligible under the PEQ that was obtained after February 13, 2008. |
