Fees

NOTICE
Effective April 1, 2012, fees levied on principal claimants for review of their Application for a Selection Certificate will increase from $406 to $750 in order to cover the costs related to processing an application. This fee increase will come into effect subject to the Québec National Assembly’s adoption of legislation, retroactive to April 1, 2012, that will include a provision authorizing this increase.

The fees charged to examine a CSQ application under the PEQ are as follows:

IMPORTANT

The fees required must be paid in full, in Canadian currency only, by you or by a third party, at the time the application is dropped off or mailed. These fees are not reimbursed, even if your application is refused.

 

Payment methods

Only the following payment methods are accepted:

  • credit card (if you mail in your application, you must fill in the form Payment by credit card, sign it and attach it to your application);
  • certified cheque (international or drawn on a Canadian bank);
  • cashier’s cheque;
  • cheque issued by a Canadian company;
  • Canada Post money order;
  • bank draft or international money order.

 

ATTENTION

Cheques must made payable to the Ministre des Finances du Québec and must include, on the reverse side, the name of the applicant in block letters.
