Applying for a Certificat de sélection du Québec (CSQ – Québec selection certificate)
Following decisions by the government and the Minister of Immigration and Cultural Communities effective August 1, 2013, some modifications have been made to immigration rules and procedures.
As a foreign student, Québec graduate or temporary worker in Québec, you can apply for a CSQ in the skilled worker class. However, you must be age 18 or older and, if you are presently studying, you must intend to enter the Québec labour market in the short term.
IMPORTANT : If you are applying for a CSQ as a skilled worker, you must choose between the Programme de l’expérience québécoise (PEQ – Québec experience program) and the regular selection program for skilled workers. We provide a self-assessment questionnaire to direct you to the information and forms associated with the program that seems most appropriate in your situation.
Programme de l’expérience québécoise (PEQ – Québec experience program) (simplified process)
PEQ – Québec graduate
PEQ – Temporary worker
Regular selection program for skilled workers
This program assesses your socio-occupational characteristics based on ten factors and also takes into account the characteristics of your spouse or de facto spouse included in your application.
