Processing timesIMPORTANT NOTICE Due to the student conflict, processing times for applications for a Québec Acceptance Certificate (CAQ) for studies may exceed the standard time of 20 working days. The Ministère de l'Immigration et des Communautés culturelles is making every possible effort to respect the standard time and ensure that foreign students are not penalized by the situation.
The Ministère de l'Immigration et des Communautés culturelles (MICC) has promised to process applications for a Québec Acceptance Certificate (CAQ) for studies within 20 business days, not including postal delivery time. Despite the high number of applications it receives, the Service aux étudiants étrangers of the MICC takes every possible step to respect this timeframe when processing complete files. If you are able to monitor your application online, please note that it can take up to three weeks for you to receive confirmation of receipt of your documents. To ensure fairness, applications are processed according to date of receipt. Therefore, please do not contact the Ministère:
