Fees

As of January 1, 2012, all fees levied by the MICC will be increased1. Please consult the table below for the new fee schedule.

The fees levied by the gouvernement du Québec to review an undertaking application are indicated below:

The fees required must be paid in full, in Canadian currency only, by you or by a third party, at the time the application is dropped off or mailed. These fees are not reimbursed, even if your application is refused.

1 This increase pertains to fees applicable under the Regulation respecting the selection of foreign nationals as well as fees for an application for an Évaluation comparative des études effectuées hors du Québec (comparative evaluation for studies done outside Québec) This 1.27% increase corresponds to the consumer price index in Québec, as at September 30, 2011. It respects the requirements under section 83.3 of the Financial Administration Act of the Government of Québec.

Payment methods

Only the following payment methods are accepted:

  • credit card (if you mail in your application, you must fill in the form Payment by credit card, sign it and attach it to your application);
  • certified cheque or cashier’s cheque (international or drawn on a Canadian bank);
  • cheque issued by a Canadian currency exchange broker;
  • Canada Post money order;
  • bank draft or international money order.

 

ATTENTION! Cheques must made payable to the Ministre des Finances du Québec and must include, on the reverse side, the name of the applicant in block letters.

BY MAIL: You must include, in the same envelope, the form duly completed and signed, all of the documents required depending on your situation (appendices, declarations, etc.) as well as payment of the fees required (cash payments are not accepted).

 

Note: If your sponsorship is subject to a financial evaluation, please consult the financial scales.
