The Information service on regulated professions and trades is intended for immigrants who wish to :
- to know if your trade or profession is regulated by a professionnal order or other regulatory body in Québec;
- to familiarize yourself with the conditions for practising your trade or profession in Québec;
- to know the conditions for obtaining a permit, the steps to follow to do so, as well as the various fees charged;
- to submit a file that conforms to the requirements of the regulatory body.
It provides information on :
- the regulatory system in Québec;
- the attributions of regulated trades and professions;
- the procedure for obtaining the right to practise a regulated trade or profession;
- the documents required to prepare and submit an application to the relevant regulatory body;
- the fees charged, particularly to submit the application to the regulatory body, obtain permission to practise and, where applicable, register in the desired professional order.
It can assist applicants in :
- determining which regulatory body should receive your application;
- preparing the application to submit to the body that regulates your trade or profession in Québec;
- exploring certain options to facilitate your professionnal integration.
