Being selected by QuébecPrerequisitesTo be selected as a Québec governement-assisted refugee, your status must have been previously recognized by the Government of Canada. See Sharing of responsibilities between the Federal and Québec government. Québec then assesses your application, taking into consideration your capacity for integration. See Selection by Québec.
ProcedureIf you are referred by the Government of Canada for selection by Québec, you must complete the application for a Certificat de sélection du Québec (CSQ – Québec Selection Certificate) that will be sent to you. When completing forms for either the Government of Canada or the Gouvernement du Québec, and during all interviews, it is essential that you declare:
