Fees

As of January 1, 2012, all fees levied by the MICC will be increased¹. Please consult the table below for the new fee schedule.

The fees levied by the Québec government for processing immigration applications are indicated below.

The fees required must be paid in full, in Canadian currency only, by you or by a third party, at the time the application is dropped off or mailed. These fees are not reimbursed, even if your application is refused. The fees are subject to change at any time.

¹ This increase pertains to fees applicable under the Regulation respecting the selection of foreign nationals as well as fees for an application for an Évaluation comparative des études effectuées hors du Québec (comparative evaluation for studies done outside Québec) This 2.66% increase corresponds to the consumer price index in Québec, as at September 30, 2011. It respects the requirements under section 83.3 of the Financial Administration Act of the Government of Québec.

Methods of payment

If you don't know which office covers your territory, select the country where you legally reside:

For Applications for Selection Certificates for businesspeople from territories served by the Bureaux d'immigration du Québec in Hong Kong and Sao Paulo, check the payment methods of the following offices:

• Bureau d'immigration du Québec in Hong Kong
• Bureau d'immigration du Québec in São Paulo (in French)

For Applications for Selection Certificates for businesspeople from territories served by the Bureaux d'immigration du Québec in Mexico City, Paris, São Paulo and Vienna and by the Direction de l'immigration économique - Amérique du nord, Maghreb et Moyen-Orient, only the following payment methods are accepted:

• credit card (if you mail in your application, you must fill in the form Payment by credit card, sign it and attach it to your application);
• certified cheque (international or drawn on a Canadian bank);
• cashier’s cheque;
• cheque issued by a Canadian company;
• Canada Post money order;
• bank draft or international money order.

ATTENTION! Cheques must made payable to the Ministre des Finances du Québec and must include, on the reverse side, the name of the applicant in block letters.

BY MAIL: You must include, in the same envelope, the form duly completed and signed, all of the documents required depending on your situation (appendices, declarations, etc.) as well as payment of the fees required (cash payments are not accepted).
