Financial aid (full time)

Allowances are granted to students admitted to a full-time course.To obtain financial assistance, you must apply at the same time as you submit an application to the Ministère for admission to a full-time French course to the Ministère.

Participation allowance

Since August 1, 2017, the participation allowance has been $140 a week regardless of immigration category.

Transportation allowance and commuting allowance

The allowance for child care expenses

The allowance for child care expenses provides for reimbursement of actual costs paid by the student up to a maximum of $25 per day per dependent child, based on various care situations.

Request reimbursement of child care expenses

To have your child care expenses reimbursed, you must present the request yourself to the person in charge of your course location. You must complete and present this form:  Demande d’allocation pour frais de garde dans le cadre du Programme d’aide financière pour l’intégration linguistique des immigrants (A-0592-CF) (PDF, 398 Kb).

If you have a spouse, you must also complete and present the following document: Attestation d’études ou de travail de la conjointe ou du conjoint dans le cadre du Programme d’aide financière pour l’intégration linguistique des immigrants (A-0592-BF) (PDF, 378 Kb).
