Admission

You are eligible to take French courses if you:

  • have been living in Canada for five years or less;
  • live in Québec;
  • lack sufficient knowledge of French for everyday life or work;
  • are 16 years of age or older;
  • have an immigration status that allows you to take courses.

Following your admission, an evaluation of your French proficiency may be required.

You will meet an evaluator from the Ministère de l'Immigration, de la Diversité et de l'Inclusion. He will establish the level at which you will begin the language classes.
