Self-declaration by the employer

An employer who wishes to hire a temporary foreign worker must complete this form and send it, along with a copy of the federal Application for a Labour Market Opinion form (Human Resources and Skills Development Canada), to the Ministère office responsible for the territory where the job is located (on the island of Montréal or elsewhere in Québec).

Note: An employer who wishes to hire a live-in caregiver does not need to complete the Self-declaration by the employer form.

  PRACTICAL ADVICE

Before submitting the Self-declaration by the employer, make sure to read the proposed process (in French) for hiring a temporary foreign worker.
