Application for permanent selection and supporting documents to be provided – Programme de l’expérience québécoise (PEQ - Québec experience program)


As of January 26, 2021, candidates for the Programme de l’expérience québécoise (PEQ – Québec experience program) must submit an application for permanent selection, transmit the supporting documents for their application and make the payment of the required fees in Arrima. Paper applications are accepted by the Ministère until January 25, 2021.

As of July 22, 2020, new selection conditions apply to foreign nationals who submit an application under the PEQ. One of the new selection conditions pertains to the spouse or de facto spouse included in the principal applicant’s application. Transitional measures are also planned.


The application for permanent selection is the first step to take in order to obtain permanent residence in Québec.

To apply for permanent selection as a Québec graduate under the Programme de l'expérience québécoise (PEQ – Québec experience program), you must complete:

You must:

  • complete a single application for permanent selection for you and the members of your family included in your application;
  • complete parts 1 and 2 by referring to the general information at the beginning of the application;
  • gather all of the necessary documents in the required format (original, certified true copy, or photocopy);
  • consult, when specified, the List of authorities recognized for certifying documents;
  • place the payment of required fees as well as all of your documents and supporting documents in the order indicated in Part 2 of the application;
  • keep a photocopy of all of the documents you are submitting;
  • date and sign all of the forms and declarations you are submitting.

Important

It is mandatory that your application be complete, that is, that it include parts 1 and 2 duly completed and signed, the forms duly completed and signed, all documents requested in the required format (original, certified true copy, or photocopy), otherwise it will be refused.

Do not send original copies, unless indicated otherwise, since the documents submitted will not be returned.


Downloading, printing and saving forms

  • To view or print PDF files, you must download the Adobe Reader program (version 6.0 or higher) available for free on the Adobe website.
  • You can complete on line the forms marked "dynamic." Print, sign and forward them by mail.
  • It is possible to save the dynamic PDF form using Acrobat Reader (version 6.0 or higher) and a minimal version of Windows XP. To save, click on the "Save" button on the Acrobat Reader toolbar.
