Application for a Certificat de sélection du Québec and supporting documents to be provided – Programme de l’expérience québécoise (PEQ - Québec experience program)

The application for a Certificat de sélection du Québec is the first step to take in order to obtain permanent residence in Québec.

To apply for a Certificat de sélection du Québec (CSQ – Québec selection certificate) as a Québec graduate under the Programme de l'expérience québécoise (PEQ – Québec experience program), you must complete the Demande de Certificat de sélection du Québec – Programme de l’expérience québécoise – Diplômé du Québec (A-0520-GF) (Dynamic PDF, 1120 Kb).

To apply as a skilled temporary foreign worker, you must complete the Demande de Certificat de sélection du Québec – Programme de l’expérience québécoise – Travailleur étranger temporaire spécialisé (A-0520-IF) (Dynamic PDF, 1120 Kb).

 

You must:

  • complete a single Application for Selection Certificate for you and the members of your family included in your application;
  • complete parts 1 and 2 by referring to the general information at the beginning of the application;
  • gather all of the necessary documents in the required format (original, certified true copy, or photocopy);
  • consult, when specified, the List of authorities recognized for certifying documents;
  • place the payment of required fees as well as all of your documents and supporting documents in the order indicated in Part 2 of the application;
  • keep a photocopy of all of the documents you are submitting;
  • date and sign all of the forms and declarations you are submitting.

Important

It is mandatory that your application be complete, that is, that it include parts 1 and 2 duly completed and signed, the forms duly completed and signed, all documents requested in the required format (original, certified true copy, or photocopy), otherwise it will be refused.

Do not send original copies, unless indicated otherwise, since the documents submitted will not be returned.

 

 

Downloading, printing and saving forms

  • To view or print PDF files, you must download the Adobe Reader program (version 6.0 or higher) available for free on the Adobe website.
  • You can complete on line the forms marked "dynamic." Print, sign and forward them by mail.
  • It is possible to save the dynamic PDF form using Acrobat Reader (version 6.0 or higher) and a minimal version of Windows XP. To save, click on the "Save" button on the Acrobat Reader toolbar.
