Application for Selection Certificate and supporting documents - Programme de l'expérience québécoise (PEQ) - Québec graduates

Here are the forms and supporting items to provide to apply for a Certificat de sélection du Québec (CSQ – Québec selection certificate) as a graduate under the Programme de l'expérience québécoise (PEQ – Québec experience program).

Documents written in a language other than French or English must be accompanied by an official translation into French.

If you are alone:

  • Legible photocopy of identity pages of your passport
  • Original or certified true copy of proof of intermediate-level knowledge of oral French (academic transcript, standardized tests recognized by the Ministère de l'Immigration et des Communautés culturelles or attestation of having satisfied the language requirements of a professional order in Québec

    If you enclose a diploma that attests to a study program followed entirely in French in Québec, you do not need to enclose other proof of knowledge of French.
  • Full and exact payment of fees to process your application

    If you wish to pay by credit card, enclose the completed Payment by credit card form.
  • Original or certified true copy of the attestation of successful completion or certified true copy of the diploma

    If you have not completed your study program, give the date that you expect to obtain the diploma or attestation of successful completion. This date must not be more than six months in the future.
  • Original or certified true copy of the last complete academic transcript of the study program
    Certified true copies of academic transcripts, the attestation of successful completion or diploma must be produced by the administration of the educational institution or the registrar of the university.

If you are accompanied by your spouse or de facto spouse:

  • Declaration by spouse or de facto spouse (included in the form)
  • Legible photocopy of passport identity pages
  • Photocopy of the marriage certificate or your family booklet and, for a de facto spouse, sufficient official written proof of the duration of your co-habitation (e.g., joint investments, will, mortgage, shared responsibilities for children, letter from a bank stating how long you have had a joint bank account, written declarations by witnesses, proof of property, Pacte civil de solidarité (PACS – Civil pact of solidarity), copy of a lease, utility bill in both your names, etc.)

If you are accompanied by one or more dependent children:

  • Legible photocopy of the act of birth or adoption of each child included in your application or photocopy of your family booklet

If a child accompanying you is born of a previous union:

  • Certified true copy of the court judgment stating the terms of custody of the child
  • Original of a letter signed by the non-accompanying parent expressly authorizing the immigration of the child or certified true copy of the act of death of this parent

If a dependent child accompanying you is age 22 or older, or is a spouse or de facto spouse:

  • Application for selection certificate – Dependent child aged 22 or older or who is married or a de facto spouse (PDF, 193 Kb)
  • Proof that he has been studying full time, without interruption, since the age of 22, by enclosing a certified true copy of academic transcripts for each year of studies completed since age 22 or since his marriage, if he married or became a de facto spouse before the age of 22 , or certified true copy of the medical certificate attesting to his physical or psychological disability
  • If the child is not single, act of marriage proving that he married or became a de facto spouse before the age of 22

 

Downloading, printing and saving forms

  • To view or print PDF files, you must download the Adobe Reader program (version 6.0 or higher) available for free on the Adobe website.
  • You can complete on line the forms marked "dynamic." Print, sign and forward them by mail.
  • It is possible to save the dynamic PDF form using Acrobat Reader (version 6.0 or higher) and a minimal version of Windows XP. To save, click on the "Save" button on the Acrobat Reader toolbar.
