Bricklayer (NOC 7281)
Main duties
- Bricklayers lay bricks, concrete blocks, stone and other similar materials to construct or repair walls, arches, chimneys, fireplaces and other structures in accordance with blueprints and specifications.
- In Québec, the occupation of bricklayer is regulated by the Commission de la construction du Québec. Obtaining a competency certificate is required to practise this occupation.
