Online integration service (SIEL)

A FREE, dynamic and practical service that you can use at your own pace and according to your own schedule.

Whether you’re abroad or already in Québec to work or study, this service will help you:

  • discover the work environment in Québec;
  • familiarize yourself with the first steps towards getting settled;
  • explore Québec’s regions;
  • learn about the common values of Québec society.

Who can access this service?

  • People who have held a Certificat de sélection du Québec (CSQ) for at least two months and are still abroad;
  • People who have been residing in Québec for five years or at least have an immigration status allowing them to do so.

What are the conditions for accessing this service?
You must:

  • be 18 years of age or older
  • have sufficient knowledge of oral and written French equivalent to at least the intermediate level
  • have access to a computer, headphones with a microphone and a high-speed Internet connection

What tools and training formats are offered?

Choice of two training formats

If you hold a Certificat d’acceptation du Québec for work or studies, you only have access to the self-training format.

Self-training (no assignments)

  • Continuous registration

  • Personalized action plan that you prepare on your own
  • Interactive tools (discussion forum, email)
  • Knowledge tests and satisfaction questionnaire
  • Knowledge tests and self-evaluation questionnaire

Personalized accompaniment with an online agent (with assignments)

  • Continuous registration
  • Online integration content capsules with interactive exercises  
  • Documents (action plan, CV and cover letter) with feedback from the agent
  • Interactive tools (discussion forum, virtual interviews, online chat, e-mail)
  • Knowledge test
