Day care services in schools

The schedules of preschool and elementary school children rarely coincide with those of their working parents. Moreover, students often have days off, such as pedagogical days, on working days.

Most schools offer school day care services before classes start in the morning, at lunchtime and after school. Students who attend day care after school can use this time to study and do their homework. Contact your child’s school or your school board to find out which schools provide these services.

  PRACTICAL ADVICE
Before choosing a day care service, visit the day care centre and meet the staff.
