Information about the Application for a Selection Certificate – Permanent workers

Before proceeding any further, make sure you have duly completed the Application for a Selection Certificate (Dynamic PDF, 269 Kb) and the Contract respecting financial self-sufficiency. If your spouse is accompanying you, he or she must also complete the Application for a Selection Certificate, if applicable.

Then gather together and enclose:

• the appendices duly completed
• the forms and documents to enclose with your official immigration application
• payment of the fees required to process your application

Send all of these documents to the Bureau d’immigration du Québec à Vienne (BIQ - Québec immigration office in Vienna)

To request a change to your application for a selection certificate or that of your spouse, complete the Change to an application for a selection certificate (in French - Dynamic PDF, 78 Kb) form and return it to us along with the necessary documents within 30 days after the change.

Please note that due to the rising number of applications we have received, the time required to send you the letter confirming the opening of your file may exceed the usual period of 30 working days. The ministère will send you the said letter as soon as your file is opened.
