Fees

As of January 1, 2012, all fees levied by the MICC will be increased1. Please consult the tables below for the new fee schedule.

Application for a Selection Certificate (DCS)

The applicable fees for the examination of an Application for a Selection Certificate are calculated taking into account the immigration category and the number of family members accompanying the principal applicant.

The fees required must be paid in full, in Canadian currency only, by you or by a third party, at the time the application is dropped off or mailed. These fees are not reimbursed, even if your application is refused.

Application for Certificate of Acceptance (DCA)

The fee charged for examining an Application for Québec acceptance certificate for temporary work are:

These fees do not include charges by the Canadian government to process an application for permanent residence or application for a work permit.

1 This increase pertains to fees applicable under the Regulation respecting the selection of foreign nationals as well as fees for an application for an Évaluation comparative des études effectuées hors du Québec (comparative evaluation for studies done outside Québec) This 2.66% increase corresponds to the consumer price index in Québec, as at September 30, 2011. It respects the requirements under section 83.3 of the Financial Administration Act of the Government of Québec.

Method of payment

Only the following payment methods are accepted:

  • certified cheque (international or drawn on a Canadian bank);
  • Canada Post money order;
  • bank draft or international money order;

 

ATTENTION! Cheques must made payable to the Ministre des Finances du Québec and must include, on the reverse side, the name of the applicant in block letters.

BY MAIL: You must include, in the same envelope, the form duly completed and signed, all of the documents required depending on your situation (appendices, declarations, etc.) as well as payment of the fees required (cash payments are not accepted).
